Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end platform features for agent-based AI use cases through design, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Build reusable services and components for creating, evaluating, and operating LLM-powered agents at scale.
- Implement LLM evaluation, quality measurement, regression testing, and error analysis approaches.
- Develop tracing, metrics, logging, and analytics capabilities for observability and troubleshooting.
- Apply security, safety, governance, guardrails, access controls, and audit-ready operational practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define success metrics and prioritize work.
- Produce documentation and reference implementations that support consistent and responsible adoption.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts plus at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, and code review.
- Experience building and operating production services, including incident readiness, performance tuning, and operational stability for data-intensive systems.
- Hands-on experience delivering machine learning or LLM-enabled features into production, including monitoring and post-deployment iteration.
- Practical experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methods, and quality measurement.
- Ability to design maintainable systems and make sound technical decisions amid ambiguity and competing delivery, risk, and sustainability considerations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Preferred experience with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LLM evaluation tooling, Docker, Kubernetes, vector databases, embedding pipelines, AWS, Databricks, and enterprise AI governance or guardrail frameworks.
