Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale data pipelines for reliable ingestion and transformation of software development workflow data.
- Develop backend services and APIs that make analytics outputs accessible across the organization.
- Own and operate data infrastructure with a focus on correctness, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner with Core OS teams to ensure analytics products drive meaningful developer productivity and software quality improvements.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, production deployment, and operational practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production software systems, including backend services and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with data at scale.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and demonstrated system design and architecture skills.
- Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines using modern data platforms such as data warehouses or data lakes.
- Experience with CI/CD and production deployment practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, S3, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Spark, dbt, TypeScript, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, developer productivity systems, CI/CD systems, software development workflows, or Tableau.
