Responsibilities
- Innovate beyond existing products and bring new ideas to life
- Own implementation and delivery of assigned projects
- Provide technical leadership within the engineering team
- Ensure high quality and continuously improve procedures and practices
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, designers, and adjacent teams across multiple geographies
- Research potential solutions with the Celonis Labs team and bring them to production
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong expertise building microservices-based products with Java, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate
- Experience with cloud-native distributed systems and scalable, fault-tolerant software
- Experience in the Kubernetes ecosystem and with hyperscalers such as AWS
- Generalist knowledge across backend engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to analyze and design complex software and apply modern engineering practices across teams
- Databricks, ETL, Apache Spark, and PostgreSQL experience are advantageous
