Responsibilities
- Support early lifecycle solution shaping, estimates, and commercial proposals.
- Produce end-to-end SAP architectures covering functional design, technical architecture, integration, data, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead SAP solution design across S/4HANA, ECC, and associated SAP platforms and services.
- Advise clients on SAP best practices, deployment options, and target architectures.
- Own architecture decisions, governance adherence, technical risks, issues, and resolution.
- Lead direction for multidisciplinary delivery teams and manage technical deliverables and dependencies.
- Work with delivery managers, functional leads, clients, SAP partners, vendors, and third-party providers.
- Support migration, data quality, cutover planning, deployment, and transition to live operation.
- Present complex architectures to diverse stakeholders and contribute to SAP and architecture communities.
Requirements
- Strong SAP architecture experience and credibility with senior stakeholders in complex or regulated environments.
- Ability to obtain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance, including continuous UK residence for the last five years.
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions, preferably in the Public Sector or similarly complex organisations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PCE or On-Premise architectures and brownfield, greenfield, or hybrid transformations.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional domains such as Finance, Contract Accounting, PSCD, and Utilities.
- Experience with SAP technical architecture, landscape design, security, identity management, data management, networks, environments, transport strategy, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience integrating SAP with enterprise ecosystems using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware, or event-driven approaches.
- Experience with SAP programme data migration, data quality, and cutover planning.
- Understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, structured testing, and release management.
- Delivery experience across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid SAP environments, including SAP RISE awareness or experience.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams, managing technical deliverables, and handling complex stakeholder decisions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, proposal development, and delivery experience across time-and-materials and fixed-price contracts.
- Desirable experience includes SAP RISE, SAP BTP, cloud-hosted SAP, SAP security and authorisation design, large-scale bids and proposals, automation, analytics, AI-enabled services, and formal design authorities or governance boards.
