Responsibilities
- Shape the architecture of MCU firmware and AUTOSAR components for a software-defined vehicle platform.
- Own technical architecture and discuss solutions with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Design, implement, and improve SWCs, RTE, COM, PDU Routing, related code generators, tests, and documentation.
- Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, tests, and documentation.
- Develop embedded firmware and drivers using a modern, code-first C++ approach.
- Work across embedded and automotive technologies including Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR, and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of modern C++ including C++11 or newer for embedded firmware and driver development.
- Extensive professional experience with embedded C++ development.
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication buses and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of RTOS and embedded operating system concepts, including multicore development.
- Experience creating C++ unit tests with gtest and gmock.
- Preferred knowledge of TriCore, ARM, and POSIX.
- Preferred experience with MISRA, CERT, or other static code analysis standards.
- Scripting experience, particularly with Ruby or Python, and knowledge of PyTest is beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety and security standards is beneficial.
