Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise Java applications with hands-on ownership.
- Contribute to module-level design, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservices and cloud-based systems.
- Build modular and microservices-based components using Java, Spring Boot, databases, and related technologies.
- Apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, clean coding practices, and design patterns.
- Write unit tests, maintain code quality, and perform basic performance tuning.
- Support production stability, defect resolution, and end-to-end delivery.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, and global cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team delivery.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, MongoDB, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems or messaging, Azure, Docker, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of enterprise or product-based systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree in computer science, or equivalent.
- Strong design, problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
