Base Salary
$112k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend integration services and features using Node.js and NestJS.
- Implement connectivity, data ingestion, and export logic between ZoomInfo’s data layer and third-party platforms.
- Develop job execution patterns with retries and basic state management within orchestrated workflows.
- Create and maintain APIs and internal services integrating with external systems.
- Add logging, metrics, and tracing to improve service observability and troubleshooting.
- Write tested code, participate in code reviews, and own small-to-medium features end to end.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute incremental reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a growing focus on backend systems.
- Working experience with Node.js.
- Familiarity with REST API design, request/response patterns, status codes, and error handling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners.
- Preferred: exposure to NestJS or Java Spring Boot, external API or CRM/marketing automation integrations, OAuth 2.0, JWT, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and distributed-systems concepts.
