Senior Reverse Engineer - Anti Cheat

Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer obfuscated user-mode and kernel-mode cheats for PC, mobile, and console platforms.
- Document and report the functionality of analyzed cheats.
- Create anti-cheat assessment scopes and cheating test cases for upcoming and pre-release products.
- Develop tools, scripts, and extensions for automation and reverse engineering in user space and kernel space.
- Identify cheat variants that defeat previous mitigations and recommend solutions.
- Advise EA game teams on reducing classes of cheats and help drive change across the SPEAR organization.
Requirements
- Knowledge of ARM architecture, operating system internals for Windows, Android, and Linux, and operating system fundamentals including processes, threads, and virtual memory.
- Ability to read x86/x64 assembly language.
- Experience with debuggers such as WinDbg, x64dbg, OllyDbg, or gdb.
- Experience with disassemblers such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or radare2.
- Understanding of at least three of C++, C#, Java, or .NET CIL.
- Knowledge of cryptography and obfuscation techniques.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security, security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GSEC, OSCP, OSCE, or Security+, experience automating cheat-related tasks, and hands-on reverse-engineering or anti-cheat/anti-malware development experience.
