Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and apply engineering best practices, compliance procedures, and security standards.
- Support software reliability, continuous improvement, and the bank’s technology transformation.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of seven years of experience.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
- Ability to collaborate across all aspects of product development and communicate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, and customers.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, product domains, feature impacts, and technical strategy.
