Responsibilities
- Build and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Implement unit testing and automated quality checks using Pytest.
- Architect scalable APIs capable of handling high-concurrency traffic.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, including N+1 queries and asynchronous task issues.
- Collaborate with Product and QA teams to translate business logic into maintainable technical solutions.
- Apply software lifecycle best practices through design patterns, documentation, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Take on software architecture responsibilities focused on operations and automation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience.
- Mastery of Django and Django REST Framework.
- Strong expertise in unit testing and quality-first development frameworks.
- Experience designing microservices architectures and integrating complex third-party applications.
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming and managing high-load database queries.
- Professional-level English proficiency at C1 minimum.
- Spanish fluency or professional working proficiency is preferred.
- Experience with Silk or other performance profiling tools is preferred.
