Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end blockchain architectures for digital assets, payments, settlement, identity, and smart-contract applications.
- Define blockchain adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals, compliance standards, and market trends.
- Develop solution blueprints integrating blockchain with banking systems, APIs, cloud services, and fintech platforms.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams on architectural consistency, performance, and security.
- Translate requirements with business leaders, compliance teams, and external partners into technical designs.
- Ensure adherence to security, privacy, cryptography, key-management, and financial-industry compliance practices.
- Lead proofs of concept evaluating blockchain frameworks, consensus mechanisms, and interoperability protocols.
- Maintain architectural documentation, design patterns, and reference architectures.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- At least 7 years in software architecture or solution design, including at least 3 years focused on blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial services, banking, payments, or capital markets.
- Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Canton, Stellar, or Polygon.
- Strong understanding of consensus algorithms, smart contracts, cryptography, and tokenization.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP and with microservices design.
- Proficiency in API design, integration frameworks, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of DeFi, CBDCs, stablecoins, and digital asset custody is a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, analytical, and business-to-technical translation skills.
