Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack AI features end-to-end, from stakeholder scoping through deployment of agentic systems.
- Own 0-to-1 projects and collaborate with sales and operations to identify opportunities and build intelligent capabilities.
- Build and improve agentic infrastructure for production inference, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Integrate AI into the marketplace through clean, native product interfaces.
- Develop scalable systems for intelligent matching, document understanding, and agentic workflows.
- Own the full product loop from identifying important problems through production monitoring and improvement.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping and owning end-to-end AI systems using LLMs and/or classic machine learning for real users with measurable outcomes.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent Python skills, and experience integrating foundation models in production.
- A track record of taking ambiguous problems from concept through production and demonstrating impact.
- Strong product sense and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions independently.
- Comfort working with limited structure and turning uncertainty into clarity.
- Preferred: experience with modern AI frameworks, multi-step agentic systems, tool use, planning, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Preferred: experience designing offline and online LLM evaluation suites, including rubric-based and model-graded evaluations.
- Preferred: experience operating LLM systems at scale, including latency, cost, caching, fallbacks, rate limits, and reliability.
- Preferred: familiarity with retrieval quality techniques such as chunking, reranking, query rewriting, and relevance tuning.
- Preferred: marketplace, platform, fintech, or small-business experience, including matching algorithms or business transactions.
- Preferred: familiarity with Go, GraphQL, or React and TypeScript.
- Preferred: background in NLP, information retrieval, or recommendation systems.
