Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java desktop applications for mass spectrometry instrument control.
- Implement new features, improve existing functionality, and resolve software defects.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for software quality, reliability, and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with software developers, scientists, and engineers on instrument-control solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing Java desktop applications.
- Experience developing, debugging, or testing software that interfaces with laboratory, industrial, or other physical devices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with Eclipse RCP and Eclipse-based applications is preferred.
- Experience developing scientific, industrial, or instrument-control software is preferred.
