Responsibilities
- Plan, scope, and execute complex security assessments and penetration tests across applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective measures to protect digital assets and support compliance.
- Embed security testing throughout the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Develop and maintain security testing tools, methodologies, and industry-aligned practices.
- Analyze security incidents and produce reports covering their nature, impact, scope, and recommended preventive actions.
- Serve as a technical escalation point, guide root cause analysis, validate remediation, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate with development, IT, architecture, DevOps, and risk stakeholders to identify security gaps and evaluate system designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in information security, IT audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security incident response, threat modeling, cyber threat intelligence, risk analysis, and compliance risk management.
- Preferred master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, GSEC, Security+, or GCIH.
- Preferred 8+ years of experience in a related field.
