Base Salary
$154k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Pulumi projects across multiple AWS accounts using TypeScript.
- Own the administration and reliability of the self-hosted GitHub Enterprise Server instance.
- Design and implement AWS architectures across GovCloud and commercial regions.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure controls for ITAR and FedRAMP compliance.
- Build self-service tools and automation for internal developers.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimizing build and deployment processes.
- Design and implement multi-region network architectures.
- Operate container platforms across Docker, ECS/Fargate, and EKS.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and respond to security events.
- Produce clear technical documentation and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing production AWS infrastructure at scale.
- Experience with security and compliance requirements like ITAR and FedRAMP.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, preferably with TypeScript.
- Deep experience with AWS GovCloud and core services.
- Strong understanding of VPC design and network security principles.
- Comfortable with command-line tools and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git workflows and GitHub Actions.
- Practical experience with containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles and encryption strategies.
