Responsibilities
- Own features and systems end-to-end across architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Design clean, maintainable, scalable systems across multiple product surfaces.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, revenue, and customer stakeholders to translate business problems into shipped software.
- Drive cross-team initiatives and help shape product direction and technical priorities.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for implementation, code review, testing, documentation, and exploration.
- Work across backend services, frontend applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
- Improve code quality and tooling and share knowledge across the engineering team.
- Take ownership of production systems and communicate proactively, especially under pressure.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with a record of shipping customer-facing applications.
- Experience working across Python, TypeScript/React, and cloud infrastructure including AWS and Databricks.
- Daily use of AI coding tools as part of an AI-accelerated software development workflow.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, independently break down business problems, and deliver solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and explain engineering tradeoffs.
- Responsiveness, reliability, ownership, and a bias toward action.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.
