Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customer-facing UI features within product teams using modern front-end technologies.
- Translate product requirements, UX designs, and technical specifications into performant, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
- Build and maintain micro-frontend-based UI implementations aligned with product architecture.
- Implement accessible UI components that comply with WCAG standards and provide consistent user experiences.
- Write structured, testable, and efficient TypeScript code.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to own UI quality.
- Integrate UI components with backend services through REST APIs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers on requirements, usability, feasibility, and technical approach.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to build, deployment, release, CI/CD, and GitHub-based workflow processes.
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and team processes.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required; the posting also states eight or more years of application development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development.
- Advanced experience with React, including hooks and modern state management patterns.
- Experience translating design systems and UX artifacts into production-ready UI implementations.
- Experience implementing accessible components aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Cypress.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of performance optimization and web application security best practices.
- Experience working within agile product teams and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
- Ability to review product requirements, technical designs, and UX specifications and collaborate across engineering, product, and design.
- B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
