Responsibilities
- Design and develop Order Management System features for new initiatives and existing products.
- Build and maintain backend Java services and frontend applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and engineering best-practice efforts.
- Improve platform performance through refactoring, system upgrades, and technology enhancements.
- Make hands-on technical contributions to software development projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience with Java and frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Comfort using AI coding assistance such as Claude.
- Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit, Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Playwright.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows or automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills, plus willingness to learn and support team growth.
- Preferred: experience with financial trading applications, OMS, EMS, FIX protocol, market data integration, multithreaded programming, scalable frontend solutions, or system and technology upgrades.
