Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Workday integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate, and Workday Web Services.
- Develop PECI/PICOF payroll integrations and custom REST API integrations with external enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain Workday Reports, RaaS, and Calculated Fields solutions.
- Implement and manage integration authentication and security, including OAuth 2.0, ISU configuration, security groups, domain security policies, and API scopes.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, optimize performance, and provide ongoing production support.
- Support annual compensation, mid-year performance, Workday release, and regression-testing programs.
- Contribute to Workday Payroll, My Total Rewards, Moveworks, and third-party/vendor integration initiatives.
- Partner with business, security, architecture, and external vendor teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of experience in Workday integrations with strong hands-on development experience.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday integrations.
- Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Prism, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services.
- Proficiency with XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and web service technologies.
- Experience with integration middleware or enterprise integration platforms such as Boomi or MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, custom reports, and integration system configurations.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration failures and production issues.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable integration solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with Jira or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience integrating Workday with HR, payroll, benefits, finance, identity management, and third-party systems.
- Preferred knowledge of Workday integration best practices, security, data privacy, monitoring, operational management, version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Workday Integration certification is a plus.
