Responsibilities
- Develop mission-critical backend features and services for the Workato platform, including AI chatbot dispatching and AI execution.
- Build high-performance gateways and routing components.
- Build server-side infrastructure for logging and monitoring.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available distributed systems in collaboration with Infrastructure, SRE, and AI teams.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code across the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate alternatives, propose system improvements, and present architectural recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 8 years of industry experience.
- At least 4 years of backend experience with Go.
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems and understanding large web application components such as databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and configuration.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ruby on Rails, Docker or other isolation technologies, Redis-based caching, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps, ML, DBA, enterprise applications, open-source contributions, and third-party REST APIs at scale are preferred or nice-to-have qualifications.
- Ability to work remotely with globally distributed teams, communicate effectively in English, learn new technologies, and deliver features from design through production and maintenance.
