Responsibilities
- Lead a team designing and developing core database system functionality.
- Create architectures and designs to solve complex scalability, robustness, and performance problems.
- Implement functional and system tests for assigned areas and overall database quality.
- Debug defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and diagnose issues.
- Participate in release and deployment processes.
- Own services end to end from conception and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and customer engagement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in systems or database-internals programming.
- 4+ years of technical leadership in architecture and design of enterprise server platforms or systems.
- Deep expertise with distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
- Experience with highly concurrent, multithreaded or multiprocess data structures and design.
- Strong Java or C programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, innovation, learning, and delivery skills in a fast-paced team environment.
