Base Salary

$120k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Create data pipelines using Apache Airflow DAGs, Docker, AWS, Python, and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with data, design, product, and executive stakeholders on data-related technical issues.
  • Assemble complex data sets that satisfy functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Design infrastructure improvements for scalability, data delivery, and process automation.
  • Build extraction, transformation, and loading infrastructure using AWS and SQL technologies.
  • Develop analytical tools that provide insights into operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Communicate technical challenges and solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering full-stack technology solutions and cloud-based data pipelines.
  • Experience proposing and implementing solutions across full-stack applications and data pipelines, preferably on AWS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.
  • Technical skills in AWS services, Redshift or Snowflake, object-oriented Python, SQL, containers, CI/CD tools, RESTful APIs, and Apache Airflow.
  • Familiarity with React, Python, AWS, Lambda, Redshift, S3, Aladdin, Bloomberg, or FactSet is preferred.
  • Asset-management or financial-services experience and knowledge of research, portfolio construction, trading and execution, or performance attribution are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, make strategic decisions, collaborate across teams, and mentor others.
