Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and review firmware for embedded hardware and allocated product functions.
- Develop control algorithms and provide firmware test specifications, validation plans, and product-lifecycle support.
- Collaborate with hardware, testing, technical-support, and other engineering functions on product specifications, test plans, and field problem resolution.
- Produce technical documentation including drawings and component specifications.
- Provide technical and customer support, including active assistance for specific applications and field issues.
- Support team communication, planning, process adherence, and continuous performance improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience designing control algorithms using Simulink and MATLAB.
- Knowledge of PID regulators, Clarke and Park transforms, digital filtering, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Knowledge of C for DSP-based real-time system architectures, DSP/MCU architectures, Git, GitLab, and TortoiseSVN, preferably with TI-oriented systems.
- Preferred knowledge of CAN bus, I2C, SPI and serial protocols, PWM, ADC converters, laboratory instruments, and electronic power converters.
- Knowledge of PLM and related processes, strong teamwork and communication skills, customer orientation, travel availability, and good English.
- Experience in UPS, inverter, power-converter, or low-voltage electrical-distribution applications is a plus.

- Variable compensation and benefits may be available, with the full package provided during recruitment in accordance with local legal requirements.
- The anticipated gross annual salary range is €41,000 to €52,000.
