Responsibilities
- Build foundational backend infrastructure platforms that operate across geographic regions and cloud providers.
- Develop cloud-agnostic infrastructure abstractions for managing and operating services.
- Build tools and processes that improve developer productivity, including programming-language tooling, static analysis, IDEs, remote development environments, release pipelines, and test automation frameworks.
- Develop and operate large-scale backend systems across design, implementation, and ongoing operations.
- Contribute to optimizing the Rust development experience across the organization.
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Scala, or Go.
- Hands-on experience developing and operating backend systems.
- Ability to contribute across project phases with guidance from senior team members.
