Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web and mobile versions of the platform.
- Set up backend services, APIs, and database architecture for performance and scale.
- Translate UI designs into responsive, high-quality implementations.
- Integrate third-party tools and external data sources.
- Handle deployment, testing, and performance optimization.
- Build reliable pipelines from messy external sources and take end-to-end ownership of complex platform projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production systems in Python.
- Strong SQL and database design skills, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Required experience with ETL and data pipelines.
- Expertise in web scraping, browser automation, API reverse-engineering, anti-bot handling, and rate limiting.
- Prior experience working in a small team or startup environment of fewer than 20 people.
- Advanced English proficiency at the C1 level.
- Self-initiative, goal-oriented execution, pragmatic coding judgment, and willingness to learn and adapt.
