Responsibilities
- Build and improve features for Black, Black SUV, and other premium ride modes.
- Design and develop scalable team-owned components while considering technical and business tradeoffs.
- Own projects through completion, user delivery, and measurable impact.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, analytics, and operations teams.
- Influence teammates’ design decisions and delegate work with guidance for other engineers.
- Mentor and teach engineers while improving team processes and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering industry experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and databases.
- Ability to write clear, scalable design documentation addressing technical and business tradeoffs.
- Ability to design, build, and improve team-owned components.
- Ability to influence design decisions, delegate work, and support other engineers’ success.
