Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Ipsen’s Data & AI platforms architecture.
- Define reference architectures and best practices for data and AI use cases.
- Work hands-on with project teams to design scalable, pragmatic solutions using the platform.
- Align platform engineering and data engineering teams to maximize reuse and consistency.
- Contribute to the platform roadmap by identifying gaps, improvements, and optimization opportunities.
- Participate in architectural governance and review and validate solution designs.
- Promote cloud, data architecture, and AI best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, data teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Around 8+ years of experience in data, platform engineering, or solution architecture roles.
- Strong experience designing data and AI platforms and data solutions in cloud environments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS and Databricks.
- Good understanding of data and AI architecture, including ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and analytics.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering and business teams.
- Ability to combine architectural vision with hands-on execution.
- Background in platform engineering or data engineering with progression toward architecture roles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and align stakeholders.
- Ability to work with agents.
- Fluent in English.
