Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate reliable, high-throughput backend services and data pipelines in Go and SQL.
- Lead technical projects from design and cross-team alignment through implementation, launch, and production health.
- Define telemetry schemas and data contracts and build metrics, dashboards, and datasets for product and leadership measurement.
- Own the technical direction, reliability, cost, and maintainability of a core platform area.
- Review designs and code, mentor engineers, and use AI agents to automate operational work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- Experience in software system architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, large-scale backend service experience, proficiency in Go or another backend language and SQL, analytics data modeling, and familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or AI developer tools.
