Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and modernization of defined components within the Flow Derivatives ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to design and build solutions in the Flow Derivatives domain.
  • Communicate with technology product leads to identify improvements to current and future technology solutions.
  • Act as a hands-on engineer on complex technical problems.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to a squad of developers.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in Java and the Java-based technology stack.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Java EE, including microservices and architectural design.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience would generally be expected for the role.
  • Experience with AI and GenAI projects, agentic AI, prompting, and spec-driven development.
  • Experience developing web services and working with REST and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, event-driven architecture, and reactive programming.
  • Working knowledge of databases, messaging frameworks, and caching solutions.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, JUnit, BDD, and similar technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical designs into workable solutions and troubleshoot system integration, infrastructure, or administration issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, learning, and teamwork skills.
