Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead diverse technology projects and teams building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop cloud-based solutions supporting auto-loan payments, ledgers, account management, and customer financial hardship experiences.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Refactor systems, reduce technical debt, improve performance, and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Mentor engineers and influence long-term technology strategy in a you-build-it, you-own-it environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding in more than two listed programming languages, and 3+ years with databases and cloud technologies.
- Preferred: experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with open-source frameworks, AI-based coding tools, observability, mentoring engineers, cross-functional engineering leadership, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
