Base Salary
$126k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of people system automations and integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, Slack, and internal tools.
- Write, version, and maintain automation code in Ruby or comparable scripting languages.
- Develop and manage Slack apps and bots for automated workflows.
- Diagnose root problems and co-design durable automation solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Workato automation architecture.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for People system automation.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate automation development.
- Provide technical guidance and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining code in Ruby or a comparable scripting language.
- Deep expertise in Workato or a comparable enterprise automation/integration platform.
- Strong experience integrating with Workday using Workday Web Services.
- Experience building Slack apps and automations using Slack's API and Bot SDK.
- Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS; experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Experience connecting HR systems including Workday and Greenhouse.
- Comfort working with AI tools and MCP frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical architecture for stakeholders.
- An engineering mindset applied to people systems with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
