
Senior Software Engineer, Media Innovations Team

$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute across the marketing subscriber acquisition platform.
- Build client applications that empower marketers.
- Oversee backend components, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data science and marketing teams to optimize campaigns and drive subscriber acquisition.
- Integrate with Meta and Snap to manage advertising campaigns.
- Provide technical feedback through pairing, design, and code review to help colleagues grow their skills.
- Stay current with streaming data processing and related technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience using Python.
- Experience with backend development in a cloud environment, including cloud compute, storage, and system monitoring; AWS or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with test automation, continuous integration, and delivery of high-quality systems.
- Experience using version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Flask or FastAPI is preferred.
- Experience building data pipelines using SQL, dbt, Fivetran, or Airflow is preferred.
- Experience building frontend components using modern JavaScript libraries such as React is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to identify pain points and improvement opportunities is preferred.
- Understanding of ML product lifecycle phases and experience working with data scientists to develop machine learning products is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing technology is preferred.
