Responsibilities
- Review acceptance criteria and user stories with product managers before development, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and untestable requirements.
- Design thorough test cases covering user flows, edge cases, and risk.
- Work with developers during implementation, review test coverage and pull requests, and ensure changes are tested.
- Perform disciplined exploratory testing beyond scripted test cases.
- Track and interpret bug rates, test coverage, defect trends, and production escapes.
- Communicate quality findings to product, engineering, and leadership to support decisions.
- Contribute to and improve test automation coverage and quality practices.
Requirements
- Deep QA experience across the product development lifecycle from design through launch.
- Strong test-case design skills and a critical approach to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Experience using AI-assisted or AI-first tooling, including Claude, Replit, and Sigma.
- Comfort with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Experience with exploratory and risk-based testing.
- Ability to work with developers on testability, code changes, pull requests, and shared quality ownership.
- Ability to interpret defect trends, test coverage gaps, and production escapes.
- Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and leadership audiences.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar agile project-tracking tools.
