Base Salary
$100k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute front-end, API, integration, functional, regression, exploratory, negative, and automation test cases.
- Plan and estimate risk-based testing, identify critical scenarios and edge cases, and determine regression coverage across releases.
- Own quality for assigned features from requirements through production readiness, including test strategy, execution, automation, defect management, and release-risk communication.
- Maintain test coverage and quality standards for Commercial and FedRAMP customers.
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to resolve issues and review requirements, designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Support system integration testing and continuous delivery workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Review other engineers’ test cases and automation, share best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers.
- Work independently while proactively communicating progress and blockers.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and testing best practices.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA.
- Proven experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience with automation frameworks or scripting.
- Experience with or exposure to FedRAMP environments, secure testing practices, or government projects is preferred.
- Experience with MongoDB, AWS, and Elasticsearch is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and strong communication and collaboration skills.
