Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code frameworks for software delivery.
- Manage release pipelines, build tools, artifact repositories, source control systems, and DevOps environments.
- Monitor infrastructure and application health, including compute resources, file systems, databases, batch jobs, and networks.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure failures, batch errors, network disruptions, client data feed issues, downtime, performance degradation, and security incidents.
- Perform application server, service availability, and platform integrity operations according to documented processes and runbooks.
- Manage client service request tickets within defined SLAs and provide off-hours and weekend on-call support.
- Maintain incident records, change logs, runbooks, metric reports, and status updates.
- Coordinate build and release activities with engineering, QA, product, management, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Research and prototype technologies and practices that improve DevOps processes and team efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of combined experience in application or production support, cloud operations, and/or software DevOps engineering in a high-availability SLA environment.
- Experience contributing to a software engineering or platform team.
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Unix and working knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience writing Python, PowerShell, and/or Perl scripts for automation, monitoring, and tooling.
- Experience with distributed source control systems, preferably GitHub or BitBucket.
- Knowledge of Tomcat, SSH-based remote management, databases, application debugging, performance analysis, scalability assessment, security compliance, fault detection, root cause analysis, and structured resolution.
- Experience with AWS core compute, storage, networking, and monitoring services.
- Deep knowledge in at least one area: database administration, Layer 2/3 networking, operating systems and virtualization, or VoIP administration.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD tools, release pipeline tooling, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, Artifactory, NICE CXone, ETL and data pipelines, or call center and telecommunications.
