
QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Guide product engineering teams on test requirements, testing needs, and nuanced edge cases.
- Coordinate with the offshore QA team to maximize testing coverage.
- Assess, fix, and write manual and automated tests aligned with product features.
- Create scalable test environments and tools to accelerate releases and improve reliability.
- Define test strategy with development, DevOps, and product teams from brainstorming through deployment.
- Apply logs, metrics, telemetry, observability, and analytics to quality engineering.
- Help evolve TestOps, automation design, and AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation, TestOps, or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, including maintainable automation code and custom test frameworks.
- Experience with Selenium and Appium, plus familiarity with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL API testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Competence with AWS, GCP, or Azure and test environment provisioning.
- Familiarity with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, automated test generation, and agentic rules or contexts.
- Ability to identify gaps and propose sustainable automation solutions.
