Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Build and integrate backend services and microservices.
- Contribute to technical design, application architecture, and modernization of existing systems.
- Work with SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and ORM frameworks.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile development activities.
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken French is mandatory.
- At least five years of professional experience in Java development, preferably with complex enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, backend application development, object-oriented programming, software design, and application architecture.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with automated testing and code quality practices.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Angular, cloud platforms, or public-sector digital transformation projects is advantageous.
