Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and deploy Java and Spring Boot applications, web portals, components, and libraries.
- Design and implement backend services and integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams, team leads, business analysts, developers, and testers to understand requirements and maintain solution consistency.
- Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Deploy and monitor applications in on-premises and cloud-based containerized environments.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java 17, preferably Java 21 or higher.
- Solid knowledge of Spring Framework 6.x and Spring Boot 3.x or higher.
- Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services and asynchronous communication using Kafka.
- Experience with JUnit or TestNG and mocking frameworks such as Mockito.
- Experience with Maven, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OIDC and OAuth.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
- Experience in full-stack web development using a JavaScript framework, preferably React, is a bonus.
