Applied Machine Learning Production Engineer Intern (AML-Production Engineer) - 2027 Summer

- Assist in designing and developing software and tools for system automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
- Enhance existing software capabilities and support testing and validation procedures.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to understand system requirements and contribute to performance improvements.
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to solve real-world problems.
Requirements
- Must be able to commit to 12 weeks of full-time work.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms.
- Foundational programming experience in at least one language, such as Python, C++, or Go.
- Interest in troubleshooting and analyzing distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Previous related internship experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP and HTTP is preferred.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch is a bonus.
