Responsibilities
- Improve an intelligent, AI-driven scheduler’s workload placement and balancing capabilities.
- Explore methods to increase the useful work delivered by existing compute, memory, and power resources.
- Build tools that help a global infrastructure platform operate reliably and become more self-managing.
- Complete one focused, real-world project within the infrastructure and scheduling scope.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
- Experience coding in Go, C++, Python, Java, or C#.
- Intent to return to the degree program after the internship is preferred.
- Fundamentals in systems, distributed computing, or software engineering demonstrated through internships, work, research, competitions, or projects are preferred.
- Curiosity about large-scale or AI/ML infrastructure is preferred.
- Exposure to Linux, containers, or Kubernetes is a plus but not required.
- Strong creativity and quick problem-solving are preferred.
