Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and operating infrastructure components for global edge points of presence, including Kubernetes control planes, virtualization, containers, and ingress or gateway systems.
- Participate in delivering cloud-native features from requirements and implementation through testing and rollout.
- Build observability and troubleshooting tooling for metrics, logs, tracing, and profiling.
- Contribute to automation that improves incident response efficiency.
- Work with experienced infrastructure engineers on production systems serving global edge traffic.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Programming experience in one or more of Go, C, or Rust through coursework, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with Linux and basic understanding of containers, distributed systems, or networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Preferred: prior internship, co-op, or research experience in backend or systems development, cloud-native technologies, or infrastructure.
- Preferred: hands-on exposure to containers and Kubernetes, contributions to cloud-native open-source projects, deeper Linux knowledge, or familiarity with CDN, live streaming, RTC, or other edge and traffic-intensive architectures.
