Responsibilities
- Build backend features for login flows, passkeys, device binding, policies, and APIs.
- Write and maintain backend code in Scala using Akka, MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
- Upgrade the codebase, fix vulnerabilities, add tests, and perform cleanup without breaking customers.
- Investigate and resolve production issues for customers.
- Review code and help teammates grow through mentoring and technical discussions.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code in daily development.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading university.
- At least 5 years of experience building large-scale backend systems.
- Strong system design and architecture skills.
- Strong backend experience in Java, Scala, C#, or TypeScript.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and an ownership-oriented approach.
