Responsibilities
- Lead secure, scalable architecture and security roadmaps across Microsoft Security and adjacent cloud platforms.
- Advise CISOs, enterprise architects, SecOps leaders, and other executives through workshops, solution reviews, briefings, and steering conversations.
- Support presales discovery, qualification, estimation, resource planning, statements of work, deal governance, and solution strategy.
- Provide architectural oversight during implementation through checkpoint reviews, risk reviews, and escalation support.
- Identify architectural risks, control gaps, dependencies, and delivery blockers and recommend mitigations.
- Develop and reuse delivery IP, accelerators, reference architectures, implementation patterns, and AI-first automation practices.
- Mentor teams and build capability through readiness activities, shadowing, knowledge sharing, and reusable assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity, cloud security, architecture, or consulting experience is recommended.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security architecture, information security practices, governance, and risk management.
- Hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Security, Azure, and preferably multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, regulatory expectations, threat modeling, secure design reviews, vulnerability management, penetration testing, DevSecOps, and control validation.
- Experience governing Azure and Microsoft 365 security posture, data flows, endpoint hardening, API and token security, Purview controls, PII/PCI handling, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Executive communication, CISO-level advisory, consultative presales, solution-shaping, and stakeholder management experience.
- CISSP is strongly preferred; CISM, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, or equivalent cloud and security certifications are additional preferred qualifications.
- Experience with AI-first or automation-led security delivery models is valuable.
