Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable, production-grade services across the core Testlio platform.
- Define architectural standards and reference patterns for domain boundaries and modular services.
- Help migrate the existing monolith into a distributed architecture.
- Partner with the Director of Engineering on frontend framework consolidation, performance, and observability.
- Design systems with security, cost efficiency, high availability, and ISO 27001 expectations in mind.
- Integrate secure AI/LLM patterns and operational guardrails into customer-facing surfaces and the Quality API.
- Advise executive, product, and engineering stakeholders on technical tradeoffs and architecture strategy.
Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on software development experience building cloud-native, business-critical platforms.
- Advanced expertise in distributed-system patterns, data modeling, event-driven design, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience designing and migrating application infrastructure from monolithic architectures to modular services.
- Deep experience establishing enterprise-ready patterns in AWS, including high availability, cost optimization, and secure infrastructure.
- Strong familiarity with full-stack application environments, frontend web frameworks, scripting languages, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Production experience deploying AI/ML or LLM-based solutions with observable and safe automation patterns.
- Fluent English communication skills, including the ability to explain advanced architecture concepts to business leaders.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor, guide distributed engineering teams without direct authority, and communicate technical decisions asynchronously.
