Base Salary
$130k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver features and fixes from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, and release support.
- Develop services, APIs, integrations, and application features across the system.
- Investigate legacy databases, write SQL, and build or improve data migration and validation routines.
- Work with business stakeholders to clarify workflows, business rules, and desired outcomes.
- Troubleshoot issues, add meaningful automated tests, and maintain code and documentation.
- Participate in mob and pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and delivery support.
Requirements
- Substantial experience building and maintaining production software through delivery.
- Strong programming and debugging skills with experience in APIs, relational databases, and automated testing.
- Practical SQL skills and comfort investigating data flows through an application.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar code and tools, work through ambiguity, and make sound scope and implementation decisions.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues and willingness to collaborate and surface blockers.
- Ability to take ownership while contributing beyond a narrow specialty.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling or migration, cloud services, and event-driven systems is useful but not required for every technology in the stack.
