Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software products and platforms for semiconductor design automation, tapeout, and post-tapeout workflows.
- Develop software and AI solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability, predictability, and design reuse.
- Integrate commercial EDA tools through APIs and command-line interfaces into Skyworks design flows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements and debug design-flow issues.
- Improve tool reliability, scalability, and software development practices.
- Support semiconductor tapeout schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use AI/ML to optimize semiconductor process flows.
- Host, operate, and scale web-based software tools in Unix/Linux environments and maintain on-premises web servers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong experience with React.js or Qt, Python, C++, Java, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
- Experience with workflow automation and using machine learning models to solve complex challenges.
- Experience developing custom AI agents and MCP servers.
- Experience leading DevOps activities using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience hosting applications on web servers and working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce and software engineering operations.
- Experience setting up and maintaining Apache or similar web servers in on-premises environments.
- Working knowledge of building secure-by-design software products.
- Experience or familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
- Preferred qualifications include semiconductor domain experience, exposure to large-scale EDA compute or regression infrastructures, and experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud engineering platforms.
