Responsibilities
- Own digital products end-to-end from concept and prototyping through launch, operation, and outcomes.
- Write production-quality code and use AI-assisted development tools for implementation, testing, debugging, and code review.
- Design and build scalable services, APIs, and distributed systems, making pragmatic architecture decisions.
- Prototype MVPs, run experiments, instrument products, gather user feedback, and iterate based on data.
- Lead technical direction through architecture practices, code reviews, design discussions, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deploy and operate software in the cloud while addressing performance, observability, security, and resilience.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience with recent, demonstrable coding work.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools with strong practices for prompting, code review, testing, security, and validating generated code.
- Experience designing and building microservices, APIs, and scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating software in AWS or Azure and shipping code to production frequently.
- Ability to influence technical direction, mentor engineers, communicate complex systems clearly, and make decisions with incomplete information.
- Preferred experience includes startups, accelerators, innovation labs, AI/ML systems, LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic architectures.
