Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design and implement significant software features and complex software products supporting home electrification.
- Develop, debug, test, troubleshoot, and deploy software applications throughout the application development and continuous deployment process.
- Architect and deploy highly scalable applications using AWS services.
- Build backend and frontend automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Make architectural decisions balancing business needs, technical constraints, and user experience.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior software engineers, and guide the team’s technical direction.
- Contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, engineering standards, code quality, and system architecture improvements.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define requirements and solutions.
- Create dashboards for performance monitoring and alerting and use JIRA or Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive software application development experience, or a master’s degree or foreign equivalent and three years of such experience.
- Experience developing software applications using Python 3.10 or later.
- Experience creating frontend applications with TypeScript and a reactive JavaScript framework.
- Experience building automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
- Experience architecting and deploying scalable applications on AWS services.
- Experience designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience using JIRA or Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Experience creating performance-monitoring and alerting dashboards.
