Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical solutions as part of an agile team.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, data scientists, data engineers, and other team members on data-driven solutions.
- Provision data for model development and AI workflows in partnership with data scientists.
- Refine the product backlog with internal stakeholders and the core development team.
- Automate and execute unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Design solutions for ingestion, curation, and provisioning of complex enterprise data for analytics, reporting, and data science.
- Support custom applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Reduce technical debt and champion engineering excellence.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Generally 4–6+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools, including Python and TypeScript/Node.js.
- Understanding of AWS architectures and technical standards.
- Understanding of agile data engineering concepts and processes.
- Experience with APIs, LLM invocation and prompt experiments, agent workflows, search systems, context engineering, or workflow observability is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, consensus-building, facilitation, consultative, collaboration, prioritization, adaptability, and learning skills.
- Ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while protecting confidential and customer data.
