Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex web applications using established approaches and best practices.
- Improve engineering and quality standards and help team members adopt them.
- Create CI/CD pipeline templates and assist the DevOps team with more complex pipelines.
- Participate in hiring and technical interview activities.
- Coach or supervise mid-level and junior engineers as required by the project.
Requirements
- Proficiency in API architectural styles including monolith, microservices, and serverless.
- Experience designing solutions with appropriate patterns and development standards.
- Strong Node.js background, including advanced Node.js features and high-performance application development.
- Experience with complex database queries and aggregations.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Practical experience with testing approaches and tools and supporting code quality metrics.
- Hands-on experience with application deployment patterns and tools, including Docker.
- Experience configuring infrastructure using AWS and knowledge of Kafka.
